Last week, I was browsing in the bookstore. I'm a proud bibliophile and for me, it was like an evening spent in paradise. I managed to come away with only three new books.
I was surprised to find an edition of the Little House books that I'd never seen, and it was shelved in the fiction/literature section, as opposed the children's books as usual. This box set contains the text of all nine of Laura Ingalls Wilder's books in two volumes. It seems to be marketed not as a children's story but as an American classic - good news in my opinion! The Little House books are not just for kids!
