I got a little carried away with the end of school and the beginning of my summer break (!!), and I just plain forgot to write posts for Monday and Wednesday of this week. Apologies.
I'm curious: is it good/effective/desirable to readers for me to update my blog on a regular schedule? Personally, I like the structure and predictability of committing to post 3x weekly, because I know otherwise I wouldn't blog often at all.
I had planned to write today about Mr. and Mrs. Scott, those neighbors of the Ingalls family in Little House on the Prairie, but I am seriously having no luck with my usual amateur Google research. Does anyone know anything about the Scotts of Little House? I think my problem is twofold: first, Laura Ingalls Wilder didn't include a lot of identifying details about them; and second, Scott is such a common last name in America.
Oh well.
What are your favorite sources to learn about the history behind the "Little House" books?
