Iowa Braille School

Sorry this post is late! I usually try to update ahead of time so that all my posts go live at midnight, but I got behind this week.
But look what I found today! The school that Mary Ingalls attended in Vinton, Iowa still exists, and their website has a page dedicated to the history of the school, including Mary's attendance there. Read the article for a very detailed description of the school and life there at the time Mary attended. I was fascinated to read about Mary's time at the school.
