Cornbread stuffing

Welcome back to my Little House Club Online blog! Thanksgiving is fast approaching. I can't believe it's almost here. Countdown to Thanksgiving: 13 days.

Thanksgiving is one of the most prominent and memorable holidays featured in the "Little House" books. Read any Thanksgiving story in the book series, and you'll find a mouthwatering list of old-fashioned comfort foods. Some are familiar and traditional; some are quaint and unusual; all are delicious.

In honor of the upcoming holiday, I'll be sharing a link to a recipe from now until Thanksgiving. Today's featured dish: stuffing, an essential accompaniment to the Thanksgiving bird.

Here's a recipe for Creole Cornbread Stuffing. This version might contain a greater variety of seasoning than Ma Ingalls had access to, which, in my opinion, can only be a good thing. Yum!
