Did you know that books have been written about Laura Ingalls Wilder's mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and daughter? These four series attempt to carry on the tradition Laura started by writing her famous "Little House" books.
The later books, by Melissa Wiley, Maria D. Wilkes, and Roger Lea MacBride, don't always follow Laura's tradition of sweet, wholesome characters. Hence, our family hasn't read all of them. However, the books are worth noting as additions to all things "Little House."
