Christmas caroling

Merry Christmas Eve!
If you've ever read Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little House" books in any amount, you know that a big part of the Ingallses' family time revolved around Pa's fiddle. The Ingalls family loved to sing together, and Christmastime was no exception.

Celebrate in "Little House" style by singing some Christmas carols together! Gather around the Christmas tree with some hot chocolate, or, better yet, walk around your neighborhood and serenade your neighbors. Caroling is one of my favorite family Christmas traditions. I love that it's a little bit old-fashioned, too.

What are your favorite Christmas carols? If they're traditional ones, chances are that Laura and her family sang the very same songs back in the 1800s! What an incredible thought.

Merry Christmas!
