Instructions to make your own bonnet

Look what I discovered in our box of Little House craft supplies - a pattern for a homemade prairie bonnet! 

It would seem that my parents created or adapted a pattern for sewing a bonnet like the ones Laura and Mary wore daily on the prairie. Here's the instruction sheet.
If you'd like a copy of the pattern, you can access it in this Google Drive folder. We've successfully made several child-sized bonnets using this pattern, though I didn't take the time to photograph them.

    1. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I finally found the original pattern and scanned it. Send me an email and I'll send the pattern pieces to you as pdf files. littlehouseclub (at) gmail (dot) com.
      There are options for small, medium, and large child sizes.
